Baby Bistro

We have a Breastfeeding Help Line and offer a Lactation Consult for parents and babies who need additional assistance after discharge. Please call (847) 842-5569. Your call will be answered during regular business hours. We do not use email for questions or consults.

 

Baby Bistro is our free support group for parents and infants up to one year of age. We have two ways that you can participate.

1. In person Baby Bistro will be held at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday. In order to attend in person Bistro, mothers must have their Covid vaccination or have received their first shot and have plans of receiving their second.  ​​

   • Directions: Park and enter the hospital through West Pavilion. There is an information desk right as you enter where you will do a brief screening process, then the room is right off the lobby with a sign.

   • We are strongly encourage you to register so we know how many will be in attendance but you can register at the door.  Moms can register by either leaving us a message at 847-842-5569 or emailing us at Holly.Pilarek@aah.org. Please be ready to submit proof of Covid vaccination status at the door or can email copy of card. Thank you for helping us make in person Bistro safe!

2. Baby Bistro on Zoom meets every Thursday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. This group is meeting on Zoom for those who are not ready to attend in person.  Please email Holly at Holly.Pilarek@aah.org to receive the Zoom link
