Jill Burman, IBCLC
I am a mom of four and have worked in OB for 20 years. I decided 5 years ago, after breastfeeding my own children, to pursue my passion for helping moms through their own breastfeeding journey. I first earned my lactation counseling certificate in 2020 and then became a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant in 2021.

Carrie Solger, BSN,CBC
I’ve been working here at Good Shepherd for 16 years. I’ve spent the last 12 years working on the OB unit. I’ve been a postpartum nurse since 2015 & a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC) since 2016. After my first year working as a nurse on postpartum, I realized the significant demand and need there was for breastfeeding education/help amongst our patients. I became a CBC because I wanted my patients to receive the best care and education as possible; such a huge part of that consists of giving mothers the knowledge, support, and confidence they need to successfully breastfeed.
