The purpose of Lactation Station is to provide a scholarly based breastfeeding education unit for the Good Shepherd Hospital (GSH) OB staff in order to support and educate the diverse breastfeeding population. The Lactation Station project aims to heighten awareness among the GSH OB staff on the challenges associated with breastfeeding success, by offering a variety of educational materials to meet the learning needs of the multi-generational staff. These educational materials will be sustainable to build confidence and congruence within the unit and among nursing staff members.
